Default Think my fuel pump's going out

Today on the highway at about 70 MPH, the truck started sputtering and losing power, but picked right back up again. I think the fuel pump's going out, but I would like other possible suggestions as to what might have been happening. You know, like could this be tranny death?

Fuel pump is so damn hard to diagnose until it's gone.

Could be bad fuel or moisture. Finish off that tank and see if you can replicate the situation.

A relay is a relatively simple device. Typically, it either works or it doesn't. Still, I could test it anyway.

I gotta be careful with what I get, the 35 gallon tank apparently takes a different pump than the 26 or 34 gallon tank.

Yea they are different pumps.. I found that out when I changed mine. I figured the Great Squirrel King would already know that though... J/K
Have you checked the pressure and voltage just to make sure?

Do not get a Carter or an Airtex! Neither one are what they used to be years ago. Go with Delphi or OEM. JMO

I think Delphi is the OEM.

It'll have to wait for the weekend (if it holds out). Got no time this week to do it.
