Default 4.10 gearing to 4.46 do i have to do the front

I have a lifted 1995 dodge 2500 that has 4.10 gear ratio, i need more power so i am going to change it to 4.56, but my question is do i have to change the front also or can i just do the rear?

What dose the front have in it? I would. and ill take yr 4.10 if it will fit in my 01 1500?

im pretty sure both front and rear have 4.10 gearing in them ... and ill sell them if i get them done for sure

yea than deff redo the front. I'm not sure what size you could use or how big you can use.

haha i dont want to buy both but i dont want to ruin the transfur case when i put it in 4x4

well than don't change yr rear end than lol. how would that effect the trans and transfur case when it is 4X4?

when u put it into 4x4 the front and rear drive shafts are spinning at dif. speeds right?

yes the front is should be a lower gear.

you run a 4.56 rear and a 4.10 front and put it in 4wd, make sure you have the flatbed guy go back and get your diffs and transfer case off the road when he comes to get you!!!
