There is a very high quality perfectly compatible amp for a 4 speaker setup, it will be more than enough power for all 4 of your speakers(which means you dont turn it up to max) Its the same amp that I have for 4 very high end speakers which can take more power than any of the speakers you probably have, and its at a very good price. That amp is a very good amp, I guarantee it, it has never given me any kind of problem and I have been using it over 6 months now.
If you set it up for 2 ohm setup like I have its more than enough power.

is there anyway you could draw me up a diagram in paint or sumthin showin how to wire up 4 for 2 ohm with a 4 chan?
Actually the box that that amp comes in has a diagram on it haha. I already had an idea of what to do before I got that amp, but when it came in it gave me a clearer picture of what to do, that will illustrate what you need to do better than what I can draw up for you.
alright, just ordered the 2ch version of that amp......had to save some tax money for other goodies
i also got my speakers in today and they look really good and not cheap at all.......where should i mount my crossovers? like in the door or what

I mounted the passenger side crossover on the panel right in front of the door below the glovebox, and the driver side on below the steering wheel where you would have a trailer brake setup. you got the phoenix gold ryval speakers right? they are real nice looking speakers, a sleek black look. I like the grilles that come with them, to bad those arent useful on our setup
yeah i got the phoenix gold 6.5s ........can i get the conversion kit at radioshack?.......i think im gonna use the grilles on my back speakers......the stock slots are the same size unlike the door panels......i dont know if yours is the same or not bein excab
so, you can see your crossovers?.....will the amp come with a wiring kit? the speakers came with wire

You will only need one input to the crossover, then you have seperate outputs for each the tweeter and the mid range speaker. make sure you put them on the right side, and you should have a tweeter level input that you can set, set it at +2 and you will get clearer highs out of your tweeter but it wont overwork it above the mid range like +4 will. You will have to cross wires on the crossover also unless it is a crossover that is meant to be single input only since some can be double input double output. Just read the instructions that come with the speaker and you should be able to figure it out.
my amp came with a wiring kit, but it also specified that it would when I bought it, I dont know if yours said it would or not. if not, the scosche 1400 watt amp wiring kit with a capacitor from wal-mart is actually a good kit believe it or not, its really one of the only stereo components that wal-mart sells that is pretty good. I believe its in the range of $70 though.

heres what my crossover looks like....i would adjust the tweeter thru my HU right?...should i just do away with my stock wires and start over fresh? could i mount my crossovers in the door so i only have one set of wires running in the door instead of being separated before they go in the door?
