This is what came on my Ram when I got it:

Heated and power. Bought replacement at JY for $35.00. Haven't installed yet as I will do this when I do paint and body work. (Some people should NOT be allowed to work on things....I'm just saying....Don't know which was worse - glue, screw, or tie wraps!)

At least they used black zip ties and black screws so it sort of matches lol.

This is why I will always have tow mirrors

Those are nice. Wish I had a set on my RV....

Are those aftermarket, and if so, what brand?

Guess I'll have to do it the hard way then and start trying to figure out what all I need to make them work. I really don't care about the power part but the heat would be nice in the winter.

I imagine you could just wire up the circuit that controls the heat on/off to a switch in the cab. It can't be much more complicated then that I wouldn't think. That's what I was hoping at least when I was thinking about doing this.

Yeah, just not sure if I'd need a relay or not. Also if I'd be able to simply run them on a toggle of if I need whatever it is that shuts them off after a certain amount of time like a rear window defrost. Or, even where to begin for that matter.

That's a great pic of the towing mirrors vs the "regular" ones. Now I finally see what a huge difference they make from a practical standpoint, as well as simply how the truck looks.
