Question Side mirror opinion

So about 3 months ago I got into a slight accident and broke my passenger side mirror. The mount is still there but the inside guts are gone (not just the glass, the whole plate that holds the glass). My mirrors are the ones that can fold (for car washes, etc.) and they are powered and heated.

I looked on e-bay and a replacement is about $45.

Here's my question:

Would you sacrafice the power and the heat to change them out to something like this for a little cheaper?

Thanks for the help in advance!

-Jerry

$45 isn't bad really. I've wanted to replace my mirrors (which aren't power or heated) with the power/heated version from SLT trucks. I plan to just use the heat option, but haven't gotten around to it doing this yet. I want heated mirrors pretty bad though.

Thats my issue. I noticed shortly after I posted that there were power ones on there but I really like the heated mirrors for the winter. It really helps. I just thought I would see what other people thought. Thanks for the input.

i would just spend the few extra bucks and buy the power/heated, if u live in an area with snow and ice and crap the heated is the best, i never clean snow or ice off my mirrors and i love it just push the button and ice be gone... ide say maybe try to find a local aftermarket body parts sales, search the yellow pages for "auto body parts" or something, they usually have alota cheap stuff... or http://www.certifit.com/ heck even try to find junkyard mirror

The worst is the freezing fog we get from time to time. That stuff is so thick on the mirrors, it is almost impossible to scrape off. That's when heated mirrors would be awesome I think.

wow i didnt look at the links befor i replied lol thought they were just factory mirrors. U know those blinkers wont work with ur truck unless u run wires from the turn signal to the mirror.

I didn't know my mirrors were heated until this hunting season and my buddy was like "dude defrost them" I was like huh? lol

YES I knew they were always powered! just missed the heating part lol

BTW those mirrors are ugly...don't sacrifice for those and the wiring thing is true also.
