How you ever used it before ?
I don't think you know what you are talking about OL MIGHTY SUPER POST ***** bluebeast because that stuff is simply amazing to seal stuff you don't need to mess with very often. it is something similar to TAR to my eyes.

Let's do this... I seal my plenum with the "E NOOB guimic" and report back in one year to see if it is blown ?

BTW
bluebeast great sentence structure, with post like that your 9## + posts are probably not longer together than a couple of paragraphs.
Im still trying to read this and figure out how it isnt put out in the context of, "im being an a** and picking a fight and talking sh**"

please explain...

Everybody needs to calm down a bit and just drop it. If it get's too out of hand and the wrong mods sees this thread, this thing'll get locked and the banhammer will come out for those involved.

I informed the mods about this thread long time ago around page 3. Im just trying to bring some new stuff to the table but BIGCOHONES up there ^ keeps messing up my thread thinking that I am disturbing the peace and Im some type of revolutionary genius or something by encouraging the use of a product I have used in the past.

I wouldn't mind having those 14 minutes of my life back I just wasted reading all these ridiculous posts.

Anyway, I think this new guy seems to be just fine. He's new to the dodges (everybody was at one time, so don't think you are so much more superior) and he thought he had a good cheap fix for the dreaded plenum problem. He didn't know it wouldn't hold up (I guess he still doesn't, but let him find out for himself). Everybody (well, some people) just jumped on him all the sudden and called him a noob and whatever else which struck up his guard (like it tends to do). Give him a break, jeesh.

Had I got shot down like that on my first post I think I would have just left this place. Everybody here has seemed really cool and down to earth, lets keep it that way.

Ok burnnxs, lets look at it from a mechanics point of view shall we.....We have established that this truck has a plenum leak. There are several factors to this leak ie. steal plate and aluminum intake, cheap gasket, bolts too long. Ok got. Now this truck isnt yours. Its a customer's vehicle. What are you going to do? Try out some cool high speed RTV, that might or might not work, or are you going to do the tried and true method of replacing the bottom plate with an aftermarket aluminum one. B/c if your method of using RTV doesn't work, that customer is probably not going to come back to your shop ever again. You just wasted their money on something that might or might not work. And let's not pull out the "I'm a mechanic" card. I can almost bet that I spend more time wrenching than just about anybody on here: 7 days a week, at least 12hrs a day. Im not working on VW's either, try Royles Royce 250C30R3 engines. Who cares? There probably some construction worker on here that has owned his truck since it was new, and might just show you a thing or two about these dodges. If you want to do something really cool, why dont you draw up the plate and fab it up your self. Post the build specs up on this forum and help everybody out.

I did not waste a whole bunch of time on this, and I didn't even read all of your posts. What I did read though amuses me. Look at post numbers: 1, 18, 35, 45, 47, and 55. While I do not claim to have perfect grammar myself, I think it is very funny that you call someone out for their writing skills, when yours are just as horrible.
