For those with superchips. Does the Data Acquisition work on your truck?

Yeah I wish it did too. I tried it and it gave some error and just wanted to make sure it wasn't a problem on my end. So far I can't tell a difference with the superchips which I'd hate to say although im working from the ground up. Tested the mileage tune yesterday... hard to tell if it made a difference but I will test in a few weeks and compair with the stock tune on my 150 miles back to school. I tried the 87 tune today and racked up quite a bit of miles. Honestly it seems less powerful that the stock tune and equal to the mileage tune which is kind of surprising. The truck loses speed faster on hills and won't hold overdrive as well compaired to stock. 51mph was a dead spot with my stock tune and so far the superchips hasn't fixed it yet... That said, im gonna throw some 91 in the tank tomorrow and see just what she will do.

Trucklover, what do you personally run tune wise and what are your personal thoughts on the Superchips?

Like you , I have tried the 87 tune and stock does feel stronger. The mileage tune is not that great either. But, I do like the performance tune!! It makes a great deal of difference on my truck. It seems to really increase the low end torque. After you put the tune on, give it at least a hundred miles before you judge it. It will pick up more power after you run it a while. Mileage wise, it doesn't help. At least on my truck it doesn't.

Needless to say I keep mine on the performance tune.
