Tax Returns In; The Temptation

[QUOTE=MiaTurbo;1579883]Getting extra money is always a nice thing and a great way to start earning.
1) open a savings account, and make sure when you do that you can't access it by ATM. You will be tempted to withdraw from it easily if you do. This way you actually have to go to the bank to transfer to your checking.
Yes, I like this very much. I finished paying off my transmission loan with the bank, so I am going to put all of my tax returns in my savings account for that bank. I use my other bank for the checking account and debit card. And whenever I can, I will drop money into my savings account with my paychecks. Good stuff there.

I think you made a good choice. I've done a fair bit of modifications to my truck as well as to other vehicles. I've done a few mod's I'd do over again but for the most part most of them ended up just being a waste of money. Or maybe a slight improvement but looking back I think I'd rather have the money. There are like I said a few I'd for sure want to do again but not a ton of them. There are quite a few that were and some that still are cool but it would probably be better to have the money from them. Didn't seem that way at the time. Then there is some stuff like the tail lights on the Accord that were cool and now everyone probably laughs out but I got them and name brand ones used but in like new shape for $21 on eBay with corner lights and all. I got about $200-250 worth of stuff. It was the guys first auction and no one bid so I wont for $.99 and he charged $20 shipping. I lucked out. I still like the tail lights so still have them on the car. I had the other lights in the front already clear and the rear sides I wasn't crazy about so didn't use them. I like them and would buy them for that price again but not for full price. I feel sorry for guys that paid $250 for these tail lights.

I agree hometheaterman. There are some things I definitely am proud to have put my money into; such as the complete exhaust system with headers, cold air intake, limo tint, shocks, HIDs, tires, and new headlights and fog lights. But I'm just not going to spend anymore. I refuse to drop big bucks on the rims and tuner I want, it's just stupid. I have a beautiful truck that stands out, runs new, and looks new...I just want to appreciate maintaining it, and begin putting my money towards other things now.
