Before I asked what mileage I could expect with my magnum V10 I used the search function.

It brought up a thread called something like
"what mileage are you getting?"

I read through the first 5 pages and there seemed to be every type truck in there excpet my V10.

In those 5 pages I kept seeing "16.5" "11" "13" with "21" "8" being the two extremes.

I have no idea what models they were, I'm sure some were for competition, some were hotrods some for pulling, all I know was I didnt see any V10 so I posted the question.

V8's are hoggy as it is, but a V10 is much, much more thirsty.

My V10 gets 8 in the city and 10 on the highway. I just use 87 octane. The truck runs like crap on anything else and is way too expensive to maintain with anything above 87.

I don't count those since this isn't the Cummins forum.
