I'm almost certain that you didn't blow the hard line which runs from the master cylinder to the rear of the truck. There's a rubber hose line which connects to the hard line just rear of the tank. There's a bracket mounted to the inside of the C-Channel which hold the two connections together. The rubber hose line then connects to a junction block on the rear end which sends fluid to the left and right wheel cylinders. It's probably what let go not the hard line. You're supposed to inspect these because they get old and brittle, not to mention that brake fluid is higly corrosive and that it's a difficult place to access. Drop the spare tire stuff your head under and replace all your lines with a braided set.
That is possible of course, but the most common place for the line to rust and leak is along the frame rail above the fuel tank, which is the hard line.
My hard line is very rusty. That is why I figured it was the hard line. Plus when I stuck my head up there it was leaking somewhere behind the gas tank, in between the frame rails. I know when I really get a good look up there.
i had my brake line break right there too and i got a direct replacement from dodge... it is more expensive than bending your own lines but it is much much easier... i used all of the stock mounting brackets except for the one behind the tank... simple easy fix
