had it. it was my first tuner i bought for this truck. it gave me a little better fuel economy but not the power of the superchip 3815. i only used it on the performance setting. but thats all i use my 3815 on. if i was to do it again i would buy the 3815 before i bought the max energy.

Does it calibrate speedo and tire size? And does it extend shift points/top speed?

Yes it does tire size to calibrate speedo, which IMHO also changes the shift points ,but none of them will do shift points for our trucks.

Actually, SCT extends shift points/changes. But as for tires and speedo your at a loss there.

Clarification:

the SCT will not change shift points on 1st 2nd or 3rd. It can push OD lockup back and it can alter the rev limiter much more than the superchips or hypertech.

I have no knowledge of it's ability to adjust tire size. I don't think it does though.

If I were to buy a tuner it'd be to recalibrate my truck accordingly. It's not like I hit the throttle on this truck anymore, so I don't need performance. So this tuner will recalibrate my speedo, tire size, gearing, and octane level? Anything else it does?
