Maybee I didn't readfar enough but can anyone tell me where i can find an oil pump for a 1999 ram v-10????????????????????

Default timing cover

I'm looking for a timing cover for a 1996 dodge ram v10 8.0 can anyone help and let me know i can fine one at. I have install a new long block and can not keep oil pressure. i can prime it and get 25psi but when I cut it off and start it back up I lose oil pressure.

Most parts for V-10s (engine parts) are gonna be dealer only items.
there are few places that carry mods for them due to the fact they are pretty rare.
And junk yards almost never have v10's on the lot.

I'm finding that out. and the timing cover. the dealer does not make no more and can not fine one in the junk yard.

Check with your local junkyards, most of them will have a parts locater service, and should be able to find one for ya.

Hello:
I also have a 95 v10 and the oil pressure is about 15ib. @ idle and about 40 ib. when moving. I would have never have figured this out if not for this forum. What is it going to take to remove the harmonic balancer and timing chain?

you need a special balancer wrench for the dodge. Those bolt on universal contraptions won't work. Napa has the right one. Not expensive
