i like it. i wana do a 3 gauge pod pillar someday soon.. tranny temp.. a 2nd volt. and something else havent givin it much thought lately.. i need a new exhaust.. windshield is cracked. and now my hub is screwed royally. aint life grand?

well, as far as not getting your money back, if you use your truck for work, as i do on the farm, it can pay you back, take for example, it costs less in fuel for me to go pick up parts, chemicals, seed corn, and other random farm stuffs lol, than it would to have them delivered, and those savings can add up over time and it keeps me working anyway, in which i make money anyway, usually using my truck to get to different fields and what not [gotta love working for my dad lol]
There are a lot of variables to take into account. It isn't just work now, get money, that's the end. You have to take into account your time(cost), the use and maintenance of the truck, the wear on the tires, the wear and tear on the engine and transmission, so on and so forth. And let's not forget the unforeseen accident. Now I'm not negating the fact that people don't use there trucks for work i.e. gardening, farming. etc. and make money that way, but trucks aren't in any way and asset or an investment. Ask any C.P.A. or anyone who does taxes for a living.
