Default Tune up time

I was reading another thread, and it reminded me it's about time to for a tune up myself.

I was this Mopar performance cap and rotor on summit...

...but it's got aluminum terminals and I've never had those before so if anyone has any experience with them I'd appreciate some feed back.

Plug wise I'll probably go with the Champion iridium ones again.
Althogh now i'm kind of curious about these E3 plugs, and they're a little cheaper... So we'll see. I'm hesitant though. I've never used anything but champions before.

I got a NAPA Brass cap and rotor for under $15. No need to buy from Summit. I would stick with the Champions because you know they work good. Getting E3s would be like setting yourself up for failure.

As you know everyone recommends brass, which you can get from your local auto parts store. I use SMP brand and have never had a problem. As far as plugs go, I say go Champion truck plug. JMO

Okay thanks guys. You basically said what I wanted to hear. Sometimes I feel like i'm just stuck in my ways and I wanted some opinions. I wasn't really digging the idea of aluminum. I've always used brass and it seems like the better of the two materials unless there's something I don't know.

I got bored today and took my muffler off and replaced it with a piece of 2.5 inch pipe. I like it. Sounds about the same as the flowmaster. Little bit more of a slappy sound when you really jump on it.

Just as long as you dont use valucrap or duralose. I have even heard that Accel caps wear faster than the Napa ones.

You know,
Steve05Ram360 swears by the mopar performance cap. He thinks it held up better to his MSD ignition better than any other he tried. I been thinking about giving one a whirl as I'm running an MSD box too.
