Default Magnaflow cat..........SWEEEEEET!!!

Just got the cat and y-pipe installed today and holy crap it's awesome! Sounds WAAAAYYY better and has more poop. Really woke up the Flowmaster Delta 50. I highly recommend it!

Reason for replacement: stock cat was rattling
Price paid: $160 for kit, $70 installation
Downside: I can't keep my foot out of it!

Just wanted to tell you all how happy I am. Have a nice day!

My truck doesn't have any poop. Where did you find the kit...I can never find those stinkin' things! I look on E Bay all the time...no dice.

wouldn't it be best to completely remove the cat? It's only for emissions purposes right? I'm just wondering because my truck is over the weight for emissions in georgia so I can do whatever I want to it.

Well, the kit is part # 23285 so I googled that and found it all over for $206. I figured it had to be cheaper somewhere and the only place was Autobarn. $159.02 with free shipping.

13yrs of performance upgrades, still rate Magnaflow h/f 3" cat #2 bang for the buck.
The cat gave my Indy .3sec average 1/4m et reduction when first added spring 99. Saw a further .15 off ets when it blew its guts out the side exit exh (7days after passing etest lol)
Expect about .5 off ets(4x2/rc/sb) or slightly better if you straight pipe it and dont run a cat.
