Your oil pressure is gonna read high before the engine is warmed up because the oil is cold which in turn is thicker than it'll be after it's heated, that's normal, but it being at 20psi is not normal, the normal for a 5.2l is around 40psi at idle at operating temp in Park with your idle speed being at about 750rpm..... Your oil pressure shouldn't drop under acceleration, it should go up, now, it might drop slightly when your transmission up shifts into the next gear but then it should go back up some...I would prolly be looking at the oil pump, there should be a screen type filter on the end of the pickup tube to the oil pump, there's a chance that screen is clogged up with slug, the new 3.0l Eco diesels have a problem with that happening and if not caught in time, can eventually burn up the oil pump

Oooooo, now THERE is a winning post from a new member.
You wanna hang around here for a while? Then I suggest you get a significantly different attitude. Post something else of this nature, and you will be history.
I told him about the 10 year old post he posted on earlier here. It's not about who did what in the Cheerios but more like paying attention to what you are doing.
Newbies!
