Valve covers would be cool, seeing those expensive HS 1.7's would be a plus.

I would think that clear plastic immersed in petroleum derivatives over time would eventually become opaque and useless as originally intended. This reminds me of when I was a kid in Sears and they had a functioning dishwasher on display with a clear door. Fun for about 2 minutes.

Yeah, once it is coated with oil inside, you'd be hard pressed to see anything.
One of the 4x mags did a piece on covers and they tested a clear one like this. Not sure if it's the same company or not. They were pretty impressed with it.

The polycarb they use is pretty slick, and should hold up to the oil, although it may yellow over time due to heat exposure. The real problem is that the old oil will look like cavitated baby poop.

i think valve covers would look bad@ss, at the car show pop the hood and you can see harland sharp rockers im sure having the truck off for a bit the oil would go back into the pan to see rockers ??
