Thanks bigdodge99

Yeah then the white one is the vacume then.

My 318 intake that came out of my 4x4 truck has 3 vacume ports on the passenger side.

I used the 360 intake off a 97-98 motor I bought but relised that it has 2 vacume ports on the passenger side. The sticker on the radiator cross support says that a vacume line goes to the front axle when equiped with 4x4. This makes me think that the 360 motor I bought came out of a 2 wheel drive truck. Interesting.

Been busy working on the truck all weekend. So I will post some pics when we get back from the pool hall on our bikes.

Pulled the motor out and fixed the water leak in the rear of the intake. Put it all back together and fired her up! I flashed the computer with my sct tune. It seems to be running way too lean by looking at the plugs. And the headers close to the heads seem to be running about 600 degrees with a temp probe. I dont have my fastman yet for the rear o2 sensor and my map sensor is used so thoes could be my problem. But the truck seems like the 318. I wonder if I diddnt load my flash program right or something. Well we have a lot of tuning to do. Chech all cables and linkages for adj. and check and change spark plug gaps. make sure all the injectors are working corectly ect. Well leaving soon so posting some pics soon and talk to ya tomorrow.

Drove it about 35 miles or so and she never got over 170 degrees. It was 70ish outside.

I had the same kind of fun with mine. Thermostat wouldnt open at first start up. I had to change it before I could do break in. Watching the temp climb up to high is not good for my blood pressure. Where did you put the trans temp sensor. I need to get one of those.

You downloaded the Live Load DCX program? I found this web site helpful http://www.morepowertuning.com/howto_emailtunes.html. Scroll down to the DCX 9550 and it has a link for the software and instructions.
