performance upgrades
so i want to make my truck the best it can be performance wise and visual, but i would prefer performance first so what is the best things to do and in what order so far i have changed the spark plugs to E3s and i also changed the wires. my plenum gasket is torn and i plan to get the Hughes kit to fix that problem next. I am almost positive that i have the death flash so i plan on getting a super chip but idk what else i could or should do so any help would be appreciated.
Well it depends on what you do and want to do with your truck. Def get the plenum fixed, for not only performance but it will help you MPG, not a huge amount but some is better than none. Depending on your miles and since the cap and rotor have been changed you could do that also.

I see you play a little in the mud, depending on if you go in deep water or puddles you could go with a 14x3 air cleaner. If you do serious mudding or hit them everyonce in awhile just hang on to your old setup and put it on when u hit the trails.
Exhaust is always a plus (sounds nice too
)
Those alone with your super chips will be a gain.
You could go with gears but the downfall of being 4x4 is if you change the rear you need to change the front.
Thats just the basic upgrades on a budget. Some like the kegger mod too. Do a search and there is alot of info on it.
Hope it helps. Im sure alot of others will chime in. If you do a little searching on the forum there are alot of recommendations, some more expensive than others.
Good luck!

Well these trucks are running an engine build made like 60 years ago and these trucks weigh a lot.
The Fastman and 14x3 will increase air flow and throttle response.
4.10 gears will get you off the line a little faster and help with towing.
I would search the forums and maybe look into the Trans. check valve delete, helps increase the Trans life.
A chip will help with removing the "death flash" which retards the timing and kills a little HP.
If you have the original thermostat I would put in a 180*, so the truck runs a little cooler.
Plan on learning a lot and spending a lot of weekends on your Dodge and some money.
The list of bolt on mods are endless for these trucks. I for one have spent every weekend tickering with something on my Dodge since I got it.
Best truck I've owned next to my chevy.

Sure if its easier to get to. It's up to you on which cap and rotor to get. It comes down to personal preference. I went with a brass cap and rotor from napa. Didn't notice a difference between it and the old one.
Oh, and 1.7 harland roller rockers is a big hit for these trucks with upgrades, search around there are too many threads to counts about this topic.
Since you'll be back there. You might want to look at the TSB link below on how to properly route you spark plug wires.

Hope the E3s work for you, my 1997 5.9l hated them...ok at first, then started getting lots of misfires. Changed plugs back out after less than 1000 miles and misfires went away. Seems some people have good performance with AutoLite 3923's. I think there is a write up on this site that lists a lot of up grades and where you'll get the most for your money. Think it was speedtweaks or something like that.

In your sig it shows you have a Fastman Dan 50mm, shouldn't that be a 52mm for the 360?
