I do understand that point, but again, when you order something after viewing a pics that show 2 different versions, not sure you have a case to argue about which one you get? Only thing I can see being a huge question is the performance numbers posted on the site, I'd like to know what adapter was used. Be curious if bdavis remembers the listing and if it was the same, or if it's been changed since he ordered.

Seems at this point there is an old pic on their site. Personally, I never buy any part by reading the manu's site since I think most of what they post is b.s. worded to get your wallet out. It's why I've been waiting for additional reviews on this part before I buy one. While bdavis posted a positive review, still want to see a couple others try it and see what they think. He posted not noticing much on the low end, curious now what the next reviews posted say since they have the 'better' design.

I do appreciate hearing of your negative experiences, and will keep that in mind when I ultimately decide what to do for my plenum repair. While it's fine now, planning on updating it before a major road trip in November. Waiting to see how others view this product before spending the premium for it.

The air gap itself is really great, I just take hughes to task on customer service. They have the lock on this particular item as of right now.

Customer service blows lately. Been going around with onlinecarstereo.com over items like you described...

You should have four brackets. You need the to moun the Fuel rail back in place. Two look are U shaped and two are longer and bend to attach. If you do not have them I would call. Also they sent me a rubber gasket for the front and back of the intake and it did not work because the manifold sat to high. So I took them out and used the RTV silicone. I have had no issues with leaking. One more thing, I remembered today(because I found the extra plugs in my center console today). I had to buy two brass plugs to fill two holes on the intake tha I didn't use.(illustrated by the two arrows on the picture)I am not sure if your truck has the extra stuff that mine didn't but you may want to pick a couple of them up prior to starting your project. I added this picture to show you where the holes where and if you have them you can take the intake in and get the plugs prior to install. Other wise you'll have to do what I did and buy everyone that they have and see which one fits.

Oh by the way that is the picture I had when I ordered my intake. No mis-representation there.

I'm not sure that it is the bracket that you are talking about,
But let see what others will say.
