coolant leak, don't know where its coming from

You can do it by just removing the motor mount.

Thanks zman. I was thinking it was possible but wasn't sure. Guess it's time to attack it with a socket and go to town.

I dont know If there is more than one plug on the back of the engine or not. But the guy I got my my truck off had to take my truck to his shop and drop the trany to change a plug that was leaking. when I bought my truck

You are correct sir. There are two(2) of them on the back of the block. there is one on each side of the back of the block and you do have to drop the tranny to fix them. It sucks but it is the only way to fix them the right way.

You are right, to do the ones on the back of the block you have to remove the tranny.

That what the guy told me took so long to get it done but I did not cary how thay did it because he payed for it not me.

i finally got a chance to look at the truck yesterday, and im 99% sure its the freeze plugs, gonna get to work on it hopefully this weekend.
