if you use the intake that came with the truck its going into, then you dont need to worry about any wires or anything
I believe thats not entirely correct. There are a lot more wires from an OBD II vehicle than just ones going to the intake.
Oxygen sensors, for example. I believe OBD I vehicles only had one, to adjust the fuel/air mixture. OBD II computers will be looking for two oxygen sensors, one for the fuel/air, one for checking the cat.
