well let me jsut put this bit of info in here, i deal with aircraft for the USMC, that means jet fuel, **** burns at 2500+* and that isnt hot enough to turn the braces on the inside of the aircraft turn red, and the aluminum...

your tellin me a simple vic fire turned your leafs hot enough that even after the fire dept dumped a good 300 gallons if not more water on this truck that they were still red? warm to touch i could believe, but red, i dont think so...

i dont know how you got ripped that bad on a 01 ram that you had to pay 15k ok in, that thing better either be on bags with dubs or on 44" super swampers.... if its stock, your dumb for payin that much anyway, insurance not included

Sounds to me like it was intentionally set on fire! Like by some kids or something.

As much I would like to hammer this guy...he has suffered a tragic loss and its gonna suck to be him. Well it already sucks...but The more it sucks, the more you gotta like it.

Here's the catch...Don't love THINGS too much. If you loved this truck so much that you put yourself, you parents, and both your finances in jeopardy, and did not come with a plan to work your way out of this, you screwed yourself long before the flames started. As a father myself I would NEVER put my house on anything for a child except maybe thier health! And chances are if it wasn't this, it woulda been something else. Now you want to sue somebody...thats a big part of the problem we have in this country.

How about taking some personal responsibilty and getting at the least, your parents out of thier jam. I'd try to find a Ram with a wrecked front end and start bartering for the pieces off of it. Get two or three jobs if necessary...I worked that many once to deal with debt, and you're a lot younger than me! Get your ram in driving condition and slip a bed on it later. Remind yourself everyday that insurance is a scam, but you're screwed without it.
It's time to man up...if you live 30 miles from work someone out there in WI needs a hog house cleaned or thier cattle barn shoveled out.

There's an edit button, no need for another post. Sucks, but its a good opportunity to learn to fix your ride enough for it to be drivable.

flanderseder, why didn't you get gap coverage? i neglected to get it on mine with the original loan then when i refinanced i got it. gap coverage pays off the vehicle if something happens to it like you owe 15k and the insurance company only gives you 8k then the gap is 7k and it pays for it. so just for future reference, always get gap coverage in the loan and keep full coverage on it. and if insurance is too much for ya then go to a different insurance company. i have full coverage on my dodge and liability on my camaro and i'm only paying 50$ a month.

yea, i would do like desert dog said, get your self a beat to hell ram with somethin on it, build what ya cn to pass inspection, and hell put a wood bed on it for rigt nwo.

sory if i came across liek i was blaming, i am just passin knowledge... i would be completely up that crick if my truck burnt up. so i am truely sorry for the loss but the only thing you can do right now, is try to fix what ya can, and move on. i know alot easier said then done...
