Default Play in the steering column

After much inspection I have concluded that the majority of the play in my steering shaft is coming from above the intermediate shaft where it connects to the steering column. I can clearly see a pretty fair amount of play in the shaft at this point. My question is have any of you guys ran into this problem? Recommendations?

The play is coming from where the arrow is pointing to, after the Rock Solid Ram Steering bushing pictured. (I took the pic from rock solid ram steering's website.)

IIRC , after the new bushing is installed it seats the rest of the steering column bearings/bushings. I had major play up by the wheel and thought that was the prob. Turns out that after installing the RSRB all the play was gone.

There's a bearing in there that wears out and causes slop.

Yes, but I believe they are cone shaped. And when it has the right pressure on it, it fully seats like the upper one.

It doesn't fix the left to right play, you have to check out the rest of the steering components. Intermediate shaft, gear box, tie rods etc....

No I havent. My truck has been sitting since early fall last year for a 408 build. All my steering is new up to the column including ball joints.
