Yep, it's probably what they said. Is your CEL on? I had this same problem, CEL was on, engine running rough and the dealer did a compression test and told me it was cylinder #3 and that the head was probably cracked. Well it turned out that the cylinder was not cracked but burnt, but the cylinder still had to be replaced. Lucky for me, I had an extended warranty in place. Trucks runs great now. Of course as soon as the turck was fixed, a week later my dealer got thier Dodge dealership yanked by Chrsyler, as they were on the hit list of dealership closings. Now my nearest Dodge dealer is 20+ miles away vs. the 5 miles I drove to my local dealer.

Could be a clogged cat.

Did you try replacing your Rough Idle Sensor ?

Just kidding, hope the problem isn't serious.

Cheap wires and a crossfire between the number 5 & 7 cylinders would be my guess. Route the number 5 & 7 wires as far apart as you can.

Clogged cat typically presents first on the 7 or 8 cylinders since they're the furthest back.

The Check Engine Light is not on at all . only light that is on is the Brake light for some reason probably just need to bleed the brakes though.
