Add an oil catch can and see how much is blowing by. The Neon SRTs have this problem running boost from the turbo. A catch can will separate the oil and gases.

Mmmh I did not see that coming either....

A crate motor is verry expensive to ship to Europe and I have to pay 25% taxes....

So if I can buy one at a really low price.......or else rebuild it to a 408 if I can buy a complete kit whit every thing I need in it like Cometic MLS headgaskets.....

Yust let me know.

Thanks and greetings,

Erik.

Um.... Have you by any chance pulled the oil pan to see if you have some... "spare parts" in it? 8PSI on what I assume to be stock internals is WAY too high IMO, but I could be wrong too....

I was at a trip from 150 miles and it went bad.....

So the engine must be taken out of the truck.......

Is there a link on this forum how to do?

The Haynes manual doesn't talk about taken out rebuild ok but not taking out.

I think I am going to open e new topic rebuild my engine......

Thanks and greetings,

Erik.
