I wish money was no object.

Then again, if money was no object, I'd not be playing with a 15-year old truck...lol

Hey,

I just noticed that busaguy05 scored an all aluminum rad from ebay. You should ask him who the lister was and what he paid.

here's pics:

Here's that last part I'm getting this month.

Scored a sweet deal on it from ebay lol.

have you looked at summit? theres tons of universal ones that are all aluminum, you would prob have to fab up brackets and mod your shroud some tho, heres one

It was a one and only deal for me. Just some guy that had bought it for his Chevy truck and never got around to installing it be for he sold the truck, at least that's his story lol. I didn't really care what the story was lol, it was brand new still in the oem box never been used! I got it for 200 shipped to my house lol... Here's a link to summit for the same one I got http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FLX-57000L/ It has worked great so far, driving through the city it runs just past the 2nd whit mark on the temp gage and on the high way the needel sits right on the 2nd white line lol

I got some aluminum angle bolted to the sides of the radiator and then to the truck. I'll try and take some pic's tomorrow for you.

I did look at Summit... searched there too. I wonder how that direct replacement would work... (just how "direct" is that "replacement" lol) I've got a pro account, so it'd likely knock off some of it.

Then again, I've got a buddy with a tig... and that universal + some aluminum might be the way to go.

Either way, better than I've got so far, thanks!

I saw it was a flex-a-lite rad... that universal setup makes real easy for mounting-no TIG needed. Can't wait for pics of the install. Did you use stock hoses? Stock tranny cooler lines? Thanks for the lead... er, or... Squirrels.. thanks for the lead... lol.

These are the kinds of things I was hoping for 4 pages ago. Thanks guys.

You need to hit Enter between eacjh pic so they are stacked on top of each other instead of requiring viewers to scroll sideways to see them. The way it is now is screwing up the whole thread.
