Bought mine from Meijer....i know pep boys has it as well but those are the only places i know of for a fact

Maybe its just becasue I teach motorcycle safety courses, But I still dont see why you want to be less visible from behind, Like i sid before it looks pretty shrp, but it has to loose some functionality.

i think if i done it i would of put only 2 coats maximum on it, then change the bulbs to l.e.d. that would look sick

thats my next move i bought LEDs for the tails this morning so it should look pretty sweet

Not just you, I've always thoughts the concept was goofy, and probably should be illegal.
Hard to judge, as I don't know exactly how dim this makes them - If someone gets rear ended with smoked lenses, that fact is likely to be brought up in court, and with some justification.
I also don't even see the coolness factor that attracts people to take the time, expense and risk to do this.
But hey, thats just me. More power to the OP if he likes him, just hope his smoked lenses don't get smashed from behind any time soon.

I smoked mine too, but I clear coated them and polished them. Looks pretty sweet.

It especially looks good on a black truck. That way you can further "black" it out.

I've never smoked tail lights. Does it leave a bad taste in your mouth or get you high?
