that was my thought when someone told me that I hope that you are all right really didn't plan on tearing down this motor was going to slowly build another btw anyone know how to get the injectors out my haynes or chilton manual say you need a special tool, also if there is anything good to clean them

when doing the plenum, to remove the intake, you need to disconnect the fuel line from the rail. that takes a 3/8" fuel line disconnect tool. its only about $5 at any parts store and the cheap little plastic one is usually ok.
to get the injectors out, all you have to do is unplug the electrical connectors (you did this in the step above) and then unbolt the fuel rail from the intake. then the injectors just lift out. when you replace them, use new o-rings and oil them before install.
