True, but I think his point was to keep the money here (ie, the workers pay) as oppsed to having it go to Mexxicans or Canadians. Actually there doesn't need to be a mandate because it's already happening that way. The best selling cars are Toyota's and Honda's, both of which are made here in the states. Foreign company, but American employees. Ford, Chevy and Chrysler may wrap themselves in the flag, but spend their money in other countries. Most Ford, Chevy and Chrysler products are made in Mexico and Canada. I know our trucks were made in Mexico. It's amazing they have lasted this long, I'm just saying.

I guarantee you that the truck you are driving right now has some Mexican parts in it of some kind.
