I'm seriously thinking about ditching my 01 for a 09 as the gov website stated I'd get the full $4500 for a 2 MPG bump and a 5.7 hemi to boot. That damn lifetime powertrain warranty Dodge has sounds good too.

I don't know if I can bring myself to do that to my truck though. That's like putting down a perfectly good dog b/c you don't want him anymore.

Tough decision...

Not totally Vaughan,

You have to have owned and insured your vehicle for at least 1 year before you're eligible. Most of the dirty poor around here don't carry insurance.

Pickups should not even be included in that ridiculous program unless you are buying a car. New pickups get what? a couple more MPG than a properly running older model. And btw , what the hell is wrong with this site? I'm not losing replies like last year, but it';s slow as heck.

I'm not jackin another thread, but I did that. One minute it's fine and the next time it sucks. This has been going on for atleast the last week or so. And I have no problems on any other site.
