Wow JR, I used to have a car almost identical to that, It was black on black with t tops, 1983 Z28, Had a 305 adn a 5 speed. I put a 350 roller motor in it. Had posi rear end with disk brakes. Man i miss that car.

ive seen a guy put the pinion through the cover, going up a hill in low range, he nailed the skinny petal, and pulled the front end up off the ground

How'd he get the pinion thru the ring gear to get to the cover? I think you meant ring gear?

i remember reading it in a magazine, the rearend grenaded, and a chunk of the pinion came haulin *** out of the diff cover
