Anyone mounted a cb in their ram? Im haveing problems finding a spot to mount mine, Im very agenst mounting it to the roof or on top of the dash and theres nowhere under the dash due to the flip down cup holders and ash tray and all, so does anyone have any ideas or even better a picture? Thanks, sean

Sounds like you have eliminated almost everywhere but the floor, and under or behind the seat.

Have you considered getting a handheld unit?
It might come in handy if you can't see or hear your spotter.

I have mine mounted under the seats right in the middle. Kinda hard to see for adjustments, but I am like you, dont wanna drill any holes in dash.

I was outside looking earlier and I think it would be simple to run a 1" wide piece of 1/4" aluminum the length of the center seat and mount it to that, in the front of the center seat there are 2 bolts holding it to the bracket and the bolts are long enough to allow me to mount my bar and the cb would mount very easily(sorta) to that which is my current plan, but once it gets light out im going to see if theres an easier option maby behind the seat or something, thanks, sean

I have that same radio but I didn't mount mine I keep it under the rear seat until I get ready to use it then I just set in ontop of the arm rest or in the floor. Works fine for me. I had it mounted in my old Ram but don't want to drill holes into this one.

Genos garage.com has a mount for rams. I bought an after market one from a local CB shop that mounts on the floor below the drink holder.

My Hubby has a 96 Ram which is alot different then mine, but anyway he got a pedestal mount on Ebay and installed his Ham raido with that.
Here is a link to show you what I'm talking about:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

Good luck!
