i know its been mentioned here before, but i just bought my new tires from treadwright.com and got em mounted and balanced for 10 each. i got 285s that look just like the bfgs for 600 something shipped to me and everything. im erally happy with them alot better than paying 1100$ at a store. my dad and brother-in-law also bought some from them with great results. if you search DF there are couple of threads on treadwright with reviews and such.

Imhotep and BigRed97--- what brands did you buy? I've found the cheapest site so far is treadepot.com. Still waffling on brands at this point. But the Thuren bar is in!

I have Cooper. Kumhos did me bad the last 2 times, and my Dad swears by Cooper, so i decided to give them a try.

Ended up getting Nitto Terra Grappler 285/75 R16 for $800, mounted, balanced and warrantied including tax from a local chain called Big O tires. They look pretty good and ride amazingly well. They are E rating and ride smoother and softer than my C rating Coopers did.

Only thing I don't like is there is no white letter sidewall. Not sure if I like it as I may try painting them with the Duplicolor tire paint. But maybe the black will grow on me. I also haven't noticed any loss in power (like I had any anyways) but it takes longer to stop.

Had an alignment done immediately and now the steering is REALLY loose. Stupid Dodge front ends.
