Default Wires and plugs

I just want to double check and make sure that these would be compatible and be the "best" for my pickup.
8 Champion Iridium Plugs

And the MSD Ignition Wire Set

Now do I need to get wire spacers as well? I plan on following the TSB18 thing that's popping up all the time in here for how to run the wires. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Don't get fancy plugs. Best plugs for these engines are Champion copper plugs. I use truckplugs and they reduce ping.

Is there anything wrong with getting the iridium plugs? Will it make the engine perform worse? Or is it the type of thing where it won't give any gain and just costs more?

These engines are finicky, I have tried E3's, Irridium,Accels, Splitfires, you name it in this and my 3 previous Ram's. I have always come back to either the Champion Truckplugs or Autolite 3923's. Not to say the more expensive plugs are bad, just in my case, my engines didn't like them, and I changed them back. IMO, save a few bucks and go with either the Champions' or the Autolites, put that toward a good wire set(8mm or better). Hook them to a good brass insert Cap and Rotor, and route the wires per the TSB.

Are these MSD ignition wires ok? Or can I get better or the same for cheaper?

i have 7mm autolite wires from advance and they were 37$. they also have a lifetime warranty which is nice.

these seem to be working just fine but a lot of people on here like the 8mm wires.
