Well it obviously wouldnt be the death flash.....not sure on the others....maybe you flooded it somehow or overheated it? or maybe ignition coil... I would look for damaged plug wires

nope wires and that stuff look great im pretty shore its not the ingiton cause of the truck was run and then died idk if this means anything but the brake pedal is hard as rock and it dosn't move hardly any. And with the truck not runing i still can move the shifter in to gears with the key turned(that should be normal)

does the engine turn over but not fire? if it dosnt turn over i would say try and rotate the engine make sure it didnt freeze up on you... if it didnt replace the starter the throw out silinoid is bad or the flexplate stripped of its teeth.... my thoughts...

Test if your getting spark. Try grounding out a plug wire see if you see a spark jump to the ground. Brake pedal should be hard when the engine is off.

if you're truck is turning over but not firing (like you're saying) its either gonna be a spark problem, or fuel problem. like above, check to make sure you have spark. if you don't, i would say ignition coil. if not that, check your fuel pressure.

if it you have a no start (turns over, but wont fire) then try checking into the ASD relay, and the fuel pump relay as well. mine seems to trip the ASD relay, i cant seem to figure out why, its done it to me a few times while driving down the road. happend once when i was getting on 95 it just died, put it in neutral, and tryed to crank then nothing. other times its started right up. but look into those 2 relays pull em out, them pop em back in, and it might fix the problem.

i have to agree with the ASD relay. when mine went bad i went to back up and as soon as i took my foot off the gas and it returned to idle it bobbled around 600 rpms, then 400 then died and i had to fight with it to get it started again.

for a simple test, just swap the asd for the horn relay (if the horn works) and it might fix it for you. you could also swap the fog light relay (again, if they work) for the fuel system relay.
