I was thinking a 2500. And no i need my RR.
Ive always been into the 408, for a long time. I plan (in the long run) to have a 408 with twin turbos ( i know..i know). The the end goal for my ram is a serious street dragger. Something that i can get milk with and have a 10 sec 1/4.
I really want a bike, though i was unaware that the rear lsd was pretty beefy. Hmm.......
I think im going to go with the bike and throw in my RR with a cam and call it a day..for now
. It wont be long before i get a 408, and i can build it up slowly then while still haveing something ti haul *** wit.

the 10's wasnt ment to be taken literally...... but indyram doesnt seem to have a problem getting his truck into the 12s. And thats before a 408.
I know every 100lb is a 10th of a second, so what. You make the vehicle lighter then add horses, and I plan on building up a car as soon as i get my 70s stang. The point is and always has been " not how fast you go but how fast you go in what you want". I want my truck to be a nice strip truck, I can do that, along with it being able to drive it around when I want.
Point of this thread was to help me decide I wanted a bike, or build up a 408. Not whether its dumb to own a bike or dumb to try and make a truck fast. Im getting the bike, ill build up the 408 when i can do the gears at the same time...already got the tranny. Already found my bike too.
Ninja 650r. Thats what im getting.

if they have knobby tires then they won't be for long. dirt bikes are best off road. once you get a dirt bike to about 55ish on pavement with knobbys you have to wrestle with the handle bars to keep the front wheel straight.
if you have street tires on a street legal dirt bike then what is the point in having a dirt bike and not a street bike?
Mohawk, my cousin had a 500 ninja and loved it but he traded it for a cbr 900 because the ninja was too small (body size, not engine size). he told me that he wanted to be able to lay down on the gas tank on long trips.
