I'm in the same boat....had mine for a month and have dumped 2grand into it for mods...3 quarters of it cosmetic....
I have a wiring kit on its way to me now so I can wire up the amps and sub....Also looking for a good cheap used rollbar.... I was looking at tuners also but I'm limited on the performance pcm tuner upgrades I can go with because mines a 96 but it seems they all have tradeoffs for the few hp you gain...lot of mixed reviews with little actual dyno testing to look at.
I will say the best bang for your buck IMHO, if you have 33 or 35" tires is to get the gears changed out to get the power back you loose by going to taller tires...It helps a lot with power and even gas mileage to have the right gears for your tire size.
