Very nice find. That front axle alone is worth nearly a grand if its in decent shape. Not to mention it is twice the axle of the 2nd gen 60.
Are you gonna use the rear ford axle for the swap? Is it a 10.25" or a 60? Either way it is kinda a pain to get the rear wheel speed sensor hooked up. An easier swap would be the dodge 60 or 70 rear.

That HPD60 is the ultimate axle to use if he's planning on building a wheeling rig. They are highly regarded among the Jeep world (don't confuse it with the LPD60), and as someone mentioned are worth around a grand pulled straight from the donor.

I was saying I wouldn't use the 10.5 or whatever the rear axel is. If it's a dana axel I'd say go for it though.

Yeah the rear end is junk as far as I'm concerned. I'm gonna either get a D60 or 70 rear, maybe even a corp 14 bolt. Doesn't really matter since both diffs are gonna have to be regeared. The front 60 has 3.54s! Once I put 38's on that clutch is gonna roast just trying to get moving. I'll gear it way down. Gonna go leaf spring in the front since it'll be soo much easier. Crossover steering, and call up high angle for some drivelines and that should be about it. It could be done in a couple weekends once I get all the parts and everything laid out and ready to go.
BTW, the donor ford is an 86...so the front axle has kingpins (awesome)...and the truck thats going one ton is a 01 Ram 1500 with 5.2 and 5 speed.
