I would rather spend the time and have something that can be but thew its paces than something that I go to use and get stuck and it RAPES my front end. Can you explain the reenforcing the front end a bit more?

well, after i destroyed my front end, (just had the elongated holes, for adjustment), (and my brackets are mount to the inside of the frame rails), i plated the out side two holes of the frame with 1/4in. steel, then extended my bumper mounts to the cross member, and ran a piece of steel across the cross member, with a bolt through either side,( close to each frame rail) and added a bolt through the front body mount & through the bumper brackets as well, all are direct fit holes, so if the bumper moves, it has to take the frame with it. if needed, i will try to get some pics up

I would really like to see some pics! Thanks. So let me try to understand what you are saying here. You beefed up where the bumper bolts to the frame of the bumper and the frame it self? And looking threw yr bumper you used 3/16 for the hole bumper!! I'm not sure if I want to/need to and a winch or not. I'm sure it would be killer but if it gets stole for my ram there will be blood!

If you're go so far to make a beefy bumper for the front, just go the extra step to put a winch in it if you want to later on. That way it is already done. I think eventually you may get to the point where you'll want a winch.

Having a winch is like having Viagra, you jut go farther and deeper in the bush.
