OK BIG QUESTION BEFORE I RE-ASSEMBLE

should i mount the intake gaskets to the manifold or head before putting in? which is the best way to prevent any movment of gasket?

and is there a certain way for gaskets to go in? like manifold side/head side? i dont have indicators on them, but my old ones did...

and never get aircraft remover on you (using to clean everything)....i got it on my arms and stomach, and felt like i was in a fire getting third degree burns...that **** hurt

You are using a Haynes manual at least for re assembly right? Like for instance you need rtv in the four corners where the rubber gaskets meet the side gaskets. And you don't want to put anything on the side gasket's, there should be some tabs sticking out from the head gaskets that the intake gaskets will be held in place with.

I can actually see the 2 front tabs in one of your pics.

if its not too late, here's a tip for easy alignment of intake to head....

cut the heads off 4 of your old intake bolts and thread them in a couple of turns. drop the intake over the studs. start the new bolts and then remove the studs.
