Doesnt blow really hot air like it should...
Hey everyone,
I got a question because when my truck is at operating temperature it doesnt blow very hot air. It blows some, but nothing like it should. Truck temp stays right at the right spot, doesnt get too cold and doesnt over heat. Do I have the wrong temperature thrermostat? The truck is from the south so I dont know if they have something in there different. Now its in Vermont and its getting cold!!

i have somewhat the same problem and ive noticedthat with it on full blast hot its luke warm, but on any other setting lower its hot air. dont know how that happened, but try it, see it the temp changes wth diff. gears.
you say its right in the right spot...well whats the operating temp on it?
mine runs 195 consistantly

The heater core is under the dash, pita, but there is a good write up in the DIY section. To flush it just disconnect the hose from the WP and the other one probably has a connection about half way next to the valve cover. Back flush it first, which would be the hose running next to the VC IIRC.
