AHHH!! Rear shackle snapped...
10-4 on that
my mom used to have an explorer sport-trac and had a tire shred, didn't flip over though
now my sister has one, parents bought it for her (the little bit*h) and she has backed both into my moms F150 and our little JD utility tractor
(if you couldn't tell, my family is all ford but me) lol

lol i wont touch a Ford, i had an 07 Focus, by 26,000 miles, she didnt run...so i gave up on them...problem after problem...and you look under the hoods of fords, and all i see is spaghetti
and i have thought taking my jack, putting the bottle jack on that, then ill have enough height....i hope it works...cuz the leaf is to far up to get the bolt out...i already got the bottom one out, and even though it was rusted, she came right out no problem, hopefully its the same for the top bolt. i dont care if it breaks, i have new bolts and everything

Not trying to discourage you, but, getting the spring low enough to get any kind of swing with a hammer is the problem.
And btw, I was wondering if your truck pic was taken where you live now or not? It's looks like Derry or Manchester.

ok wtf. i replaced the shakle, everything is as it should be, and looks exacally like the other side. (even though i found i have to replace this side too...) but my truck is still lopsided. the shackles are the same size, in the same position, yet the new one i put one still leaves the drvers side sagging about 2 1/2 inches more than the pass. side. i have all new suspension so i know its not a blown shock. any help would be great. and the shackle bolts are torqued to 100 ft/lbs.

I've read through this, and no one has commented on the dealership's kindness. Congrats though.
As for the lopsidedness. You may stretched the springs out, blew a shock when the shackle snapped or maybe the axle is out of alignment.

the spring went right into the bed, and with the bend it had, that would stretch to make it higher if you know what i mean..... the shock is good, and how can the axle be out of misalignment? how can i fix that
