If possible next time, post it before you buy. I pretty much know where to get good prices locally.

Come on now, shocks are not all that expensive to begin with, plus since you work at a repair shop can't you also get some good prices ? Besides, don't you need to save some money and get the front gears changed too? Winter is coming you know.

i changed the front ones 3 months ago. i got the Monroes that were like 60-70 bucks a piece i like them. i want some good shocks in the rear tho. like Bilstein or Ranchos...which would be better

and right now, employees arent able to get the shop discount... because of the fact that we need to make a work order with the new computers, and give the company we order from a work order number. then it goes directly to the account forthe shop. we cant pay cash. and because we've done it so much, things are getting screwed up and employees arent paying their bills on time.

If you like them in the front, get them for the rear. I personally use the gas magnums all around. Why bother with a different shock in the rear?

I'm not arguing about the shock being possibly blown and needing replacement, but that will have absolutely no effect on your out-of-levelness. Shocks do nothing for holding up the truck.

Did you loosen the shackle bolt yet? I bet thats your issue. Does the shackle even move?

ok i just replaced the other shackle and the truck is all leveled out now. perfectly might i add. i got a really smooth ride, and no the shocks arent blown, so im gunna run them because im getting a nice smooth ride right now.

but the second shackle took me all of 30 minutes to do start to finish, i was surprised how easy this side was
