how to tell if you have 2 or 4 wheel anti-lock breaks?

Plus, I'm the only owner of my truck. I seriously doubt I took off non-existent parts.
You edited your post after I made mine... But allpar confirms what I said.

FWAL=Four Wheel Anti Lock, not Front Wheel Anti Lock, which is what you said you have. 2nd gen Rams were never offered with only front wheel ABS. The link I provided backs that up. My build sheet reads the same as yours and I most definitely have 4-wheel ABS.

wow. i thought i would come on here and see one post talking about it but im already up to 2 pages.
Anyways, Thanks for the info. plan on buying new wheel hubs and break calipers this week due to not going with more lift so no need for 1 ton axles and ive been driving with one caliper for about 8 months or so.

Either way, I understand what you are saying, however the information Allpar provides is conflicting. It says that 4 Wheel ABS is optional in one place, and in another that they are standard with a differential sensor. Also, when you buy Hubs for these trucks, (I just went through this with my truck because they sent me the wrong hub) you have the option of getting the hub with 4Wheel ABS and 2Wheel ABS.
Regardless, I have 2 Wheel ABS, front only. When I mash the brakes, my front wheels do the ABS dance. the rear lock. It's been like that since 2001 when I bought it brand new.

Actually, if you read it closely you'll see where they say it became standard equipment on all 2500/3500 models with the 2001 model year and standard on 3500 models with the 2000 model year. On all others it was optional.
