Becasue you can have a 408 without doing any work to the cylinders themselves. A 408 is still the same 360 block with a different crank and rods.

Thanks for the answers,

I also thought it was 180 off, but with the tdc mark on the Balancer and at the timingmark on the timingchaincover, the distributor is at the first cylinder so that must be good then?

I also made a mark on the housing and intake before I take it off it is now at the same spot.

Thanks and greetings,

Erik

on the timing chain, there should be a discolored link/ a dot on one of the lnks tht is supposed to line up with a timing mark. Is that lined up?

Hello 95RAM360,

Thanks for the answer,

I have bought a new cam and a new double timingchain so there are coloured dots on it.

I have the dots on the crank and cam set in line.

Thanks and greetings,

Erik.

You can't just go by the mark! You have to make sure the #1 is on compression stroke.

It runs!!!

Thanks for all the help!

I have done it different :

I had already a Megasquirt on my Dodge to control the Propane injectors.

The Ms can also control 8 Coils!

So I have taken 8 Coils from an Ls1 (Coil near plug) and put them on the Dodge.

The Ms controls them now and it is working fine!

I think the feulsync must be also good because I have no problems att all anymore at this moment.

I left the orignbal distributor cap on, removed the wires to the plugs and let the original coil aso sit to avoid getting codes!!!

Thanks for the help!

Erik.

Wow, that's a unique setup. I'd love to see some pictures of that engine bay.

I also canhange the calipers and pads to a set of a 2500 with powerslot rotors for a 1500.

It fits!!

I can not tell if it is already better because of the break in and I want to do it right.

The pedaltravel is just like before.

Greetings,

Erik.
