230000 miles and now the problems start
Man this forum has changed. I haven't been here in a while. When did all the a$$holes show up and start picking on the new members?
The OP is working the problem and using the advice given in his own way. You people are jumping on him way too much and without very helpful advice. Do you really need to have 15 posts in a row stating why he didn't follow your advice?
Sheesh, lay off the dude. My opinion anyway.

read the whole thing, we said we were not trying to be jerks and not take it personal, and he didnt as quoted by the OP, so i dont see a problem here. and i dont see a reason to call people ********.
And I did re-read the thread and this is what I see:
Plus there was no indication from the OP of whether or not the spark was checked! LOL Like I said, whatever. Some friend probably told him whats the use of pulling the o2. So the next logical step would be to pull the injectors I guess, and as usual, without atleast a Haynes manual for reference. Just don't forget the 16 new injector seals. Or the next thread will be "my injectors are leaking" or "where can I buy a new wiring harness and hood? because mine caught fire"
Hey guy, let's not turn this into a pissing contest. We WANT to help you. Second, I would love to see a link to the "rebuild kit" for the injectors. Third, if we don't know what we're talking about, well, don't let the door hit ya were the good Lord split ya! Catch me drift?! The DF and all it's members have always helped me troubleshoot my problems as well as understand my truck more. It's up to you what you want to do from here. Do you want to FOLLOW OUR INSTRUCTIONS AS WE SAY. Or do you want to take SOME of what we tell you and interrupt it in YOUR own way! You take it from here...
I don't care if he was offended or not, you all haven't treated him with any respect and even joked about how you scared him off. Not cool and yes, very a$$hole-ish. My opinion anyway.
Oh, i see, just because you SAID you weren't trying to be jerks makes it ok.
And I did re-read the thread and this is what I see:
Nothing condescending here I suppose?

God Its a freaking Set of jokes. So what? They where joking with him. Im Sure he got that they where joking with him, And if not so what? Did it hurt anyone? No. It caused no physical harm to anyone. No harm to foul?
"No harm no foul" epitomizes what I'm talking about.
What can I say, I speak my mind no differently then anyone else. You shouldn't take things so seriously. It's a public forum so you should expect to get a lot of different attitudes and opinions your not use to.
The injectors should be done today or tomorrow. Ill probably not put them in till Friday since Thanksgiving is on Thrusday. Ill let you know if it fixed the problem or not.
When you install them, make sure to use felpro o rings. They are made out of a certain material called viton (I believe thats how it's spelled). Also, don't put gobs of Vaseline on it to install them. Just enough to do the job. If you put too much, then you run the risk of having that extra Vaseline clogging up your injectors. Do you have a Haynes manual to guide you? There's a FSM on the Christmas thread that would help you.
