230000 miles and now the problems start
if i remove the o2 sensor then what do i do? Should i check to see if it is good or do i try to start it without it?
Pulled the fuel injectors and they are very dirty. I put a little screwdriver poker thing in the filter and i pulled out lots of junk so i feel like this is my problem. Buying new injectors is too expensive so i am going to see if i can find a local shop who can clean them or if i can find a rebuild kit.

use a cleaner dont poke things in them, and i agree with Zman, the injectors may be ruined because you did that
Also you asked for advice, you were asked to check pre-cat 02, you havent done that, but took it upon yourself to stick things in the injectors...which may have ruined them....Start with a process of elimination, and use the advice thats been givin, because i have a feeling your going to come back and say, "Claned the injectors still nothing...what should i do" and then we will repeat ourselves.....just how i feel on this case

Plus there was no indication from the OP of whether or not the spark was checked! LOL Like I said, whatever. Some friend probably told him whats the use of pulling the o2. So the next logical step would be to pull the injectors I guess, and as usual, without atleast a Haynes manual for reference. Just don't forget the 16 new injector seals. Or the next thread will be "my injectors are leaking" or "where can I buy a new wiring harness and hood? because mine caught fire"
That's some funny crap!!! A fuel injector rebuild kit!!! That's up there with blinker fluid!!! Damn chief, I would suggest you take it to a mechanic before you kill yourself trying to fix it.
lmao....damn was hopin people forgot....
Well there is a such thing as a rebuild kit. It comes with orings and all the replaceable parts since half the injector is a sealed piece that isn't replaceable. There just isn't one for a 5.9. Not suprised you guys didn't know that.
We checked for spark and there was spark.
On top of the fuel injector is a filter. Touching that doesn't damage anything. We lightly scrapped the filter to see how clean it was and it was very very very dirty. I also brought them to a ASE certified technician who also races in many different classes and he says that they needed to be cleaned.
About the o2 sensor. This does not cause a truck to not start. Most don't even start working right away. Now you're all saying that this is the problem but that makes no sense.
I am not trying to say any of you don't know what you're talking about. You all seem like you know a lot about these trucks. So don't take my actions personally.

lol what do you think he meant about the 02 sensor?
and a blown plenum can cause oil, and carbon to build up in the cat, thus cloggin it. the best view is through the 02sensor, for looking in through the pipes you will not get a good visual, if any at all. Now that yo've eliminated the no spark, its time to move to this....
BTW what filter on top of the injector? i just swapped my fuel rail/fuel injectors to my new manifold last night and theres no filter...(I found one of my injectors was completely covered over with grime in the bottom portian of injector. wonder how much of a diff ill have since i was gettin 13-14 city before which is weird)
as for the o-rings, when i did the plenum first time, i used the same o-rings, and it caused my injectors to leak. so you do need to get new o-rings before installation, and use some vasaline to get them into position, for going in dry can ruin the o-rings/not seal. (that sounded dirty lol)
