Default Possible U Joint failure, need opinions asap

Hey guys,
So on my way to the tire shop to get my new 33'' m/t and my new water pump my truck made like a jerk and clunk noise. After that it would drive and sound fine while i had my foot on the gas but when i took my foot off it made like a clunk, clunk, clunk clunk, and kept going until i hit the gas again. After I let off the gas it would do it again. I looked under the truck and didnt see anything rubbing on the drive shaft, or anything out of ordinary. The trans didnt slip at all, and no warning lights have come on. Any ideas.

Thanks anthony

btw the truck has 200k on it. Rebuilt motor like 40k ago. Trans recently had flush and new filter and fluid still ruby red and smells fine.

Dont want to scare you but my truck made that same noise only on decel and it was the pinion grinding its self to mush which it did so check for play and the end of the driveshaft if it moves if your lucky you can just replace the rear pinon seal and the pinion bearing. if your not lucky like myself you need to rebuild your rear. hope for the best but possible the ujoints also so check them for some play

u joints are easy on a 1500 (which is what most of us have on here).
don't know the difficulty level on a 2500. i've heard that your hubs/rotors can be quite a pain if you have a rust issue.

the u-joints on the 2500 are easy too. Just get a ball joint press is what i found is the easiest to remove and replace the new u-joints.
