ok so i was watching Trucks on SpikeTV, and they are rebuilding a Dodge 360 cummins. It had an open reardiff. and they actually welded some spider gears together to make it a locker.

Is this possible to do in my 5.9 gas???

 

If you have them back there, I would worry if it every hit the fan and geranded the hole rear end. You would need new gears seals axle shafts. Link?

Well if you are open I would think there is nothing in there? Most weekends I'm at work until 330.
